Good hotels are not difficult to find in London, but The Lanesborough isn't simply a good hotel, it is one of the best in the world. I remember the crowds screaming outside early in the morning on my way to work every time Michael Jackson was in the city, he always stayed there. The facade is absolutely discreet but the interiors are luxurious and the service impeccable. So I'm told, as I could never afford such a place.
