Snow People

They are everywhere I go. And aren't they sweet? I wish I had snow to build a few snowmen when I was a little kid like the ones I saw on the streets of London today trowing snowballs and making dozens of snow people of all shapes and sizes. The happy looking chaps above are from Hyde Park.

Madness at The Serpentine

The other day I saw on TV some people swimming at The Serpentine. Under this freezing weather? Who were these people?  Were they mad? Maybe suicidal? I only managed to watch the end of the piece on TV, so am still oblivious of their reasons for what I regard as self harm. In any case, whoever they were they won't be doing it today, the Serpentine is solid frozen.

The Squirrel

It was very cold, but I couldn't resist a little walk in between jobs this afternoon, and of course  I love Hyde Park in winter. I know I may risk catching a cold one of those days as I am surely not made for the cold temperatures, but the beautiful scene above with the adorable little squirrel on the tree would have been worth it.
