Another day, another temple, this time the majestic Westminster Abbey. I always felt the abbey to be strange, almost ugly, to me it always felt a touch oppressive, heavy, dark. Today, for the first time ever, I happened to be there when the Abbey was showered by the most beautiful light and it was to me something of a revelation. For the first time it all made sense and I can now honestly say that the Westminster Abbey is indeed a wonderful work of architecture and of a unique sort of beauty. I feel like falling in love. Shame I'm not a better photographer.
