St Martin-in-the-Fields

St Martin-in-the-Fields is one of the best known Churchs in this city, famous around the world for the music. The church hosts an array of concerts going from chamber music to jazz and is very popular among music lovers. The jazz nights are simply wonderful and the lunchtime concerts always crowded. It is definitely worth a visit.

The Square

It is quite unbelievable that only the other day Trafalgar Square was under the most dreadful weather, looking grey and cold. Today it was totally different, sunny, bright and looking wonderful. The fountains aren't frozen anymore and the water is flowing freely again. That's the way we like it.

From the cold.

It looks like we are going to have a proper cold winter this year, the forecasters are predicting plenty of negative temperatures and even snow in London. Never mind the cold, I was brave enough to face the elements and walk my way home from work. I have to say it was worth every single step, the day was beautifully sunny and the city was looking great. The picture I have for you was taken at Trafalgar Square and show the frozen water fountain. At the back we have the internationally loved National Gallery that you can visit for free.

Ps. Can you spot the bird? If not, click on the picture to enlarge.
